Kai is a seasoned Tech recruiter as well as a Tech entrepreneur who has experience founding tech startups from scratch. He started his career in the search business in 2015 and has successfully completed various assignments from mid to CXO level. He has covered cross functions from marketplace platform, enterprise solutions such as SaaS, AIoT, cyber security, mobility, infrastructure and Fintech sectors.

Kai is originally from Taiwan but spent his 12 formative years in Canada. Upon graduating college, he worked within sales at an advertisement services company and also a Foxconn group company. He moved to Japan in 2015 to join Harvey Nash as a recruitment consultant and built a solid track record in tech recruitment during his tenure. Thereafter, he became a founder of a marketplace startup and became more involved in strategic planning and business operations. Through his experience in recruitment and passion for startups, Kai joins RGF-ES with the goal to help start-ups expand and to build out their teams from the ground up in Japan/Asia.

During his spare time, Kai enjoys sports like basketball and backpacking. So far, he has travelled to 30+ countries and visited 100+ cities across the globe. Kai speaks native level English, Mandarin, Taiwanese and conversational level Japanese.
