Raymond specializes in the legal industry and focuses on both in-house and private practice.

Ray worked previously as a senior associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in their New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo offices, where he specialized in representing private equity sponsors and other financial institutions in a wide range of real estate, M&A, joint venture and other corporate transactions across the United States and the Asia-Pacific region. 

Ray's diverse legal background and experience allows him to better understand the needs of his clients and provide tailored career advice to his candidates.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Ray received a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and his juris doctor from New York University. He was admitted to practice law in New York in 2013. 

Ray is fluent in English and conversant in Japanese. In his free time Ray enjoys cooking, traveling and snowboarding.
