Head of Retail Product Management at Foreign AM

-Head of Retail Business Division.
-Maintaining and growing the retail channel and working closely with the New Sales team in providing technical and product specialist knowledge for 3rd party retail clients.
-In addition, managing, defending and retaining the FUM from existing retail clients by maintaining relationships with asset managers and distributors including the provision of client servicing for all existing retail products; and provision of information internally on markets trends and competitor activity.
-This includes playing a key role in the provision of accurate and standardized reports, translation, tailored client specific reports, ad hoc market commentary, and analysis in a timely manner; and providing correct and prompt response to queries on deliverables and resolve client issues

-University qualifications in a business related field, such as Bachelor of Commerce/Economics; disciplines in Marketing, Finance, Accounting
-15 + years experience in the Japanese investment management industry, with either Toshin companies or foreign asset management companies.
-Knowledge and understanding of a broad range of asset classes
-Experience in working for distributions; either securities dealers or bank; is preferred. Demonstrated ability in dealing with Japanese senior clients and consultants
-Well-developed sales / client servicing background in keeping with Japanese client standards
-Demonstrated ability in dealing with key decision makers of clients at all levels including senior executives, product development, and client services
