Our client is an international manufacturer of food products, sold both to the mass market and food service channels.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
* Help define, propose and implement sales strategies and policies for Japan
* Work closely with the Country Manager and sales team to ensure that annual objectives for volumes, net turnover, management and structural costs are achieved.
* Develop customer relations and profitability
* Contribute to help develop and build retail channels and chains strategy, negotiate national agreements, develop retail chain partnership, and recommend sales plans.
* Successfully grow the Retail Business through the implementation of trade- marketing activities, category management and merchandising development.
* Recruit for sales members to join the team
* Previous mass market sales experience
* Experience selling food products would be beneficial but not mandatory
* Account Management and/or Trade Marketing experience
* Business level English, Native Level Japanese, in order to speak with both local partners, and international colleagues.
