Job Description

This role will provide outstanding IT Customer service while being the day -to -day point of contract between employees, management, customers, partners, and vendors.
You will not only provide support to staff on all company supported applications, but will also troubleshoot computer problems and determine source and advise on appropriate action. Some of the things you’ll be doing include… Perform in person, phone and remote troubleshooting for problems with hardware, operating systems, commercial or in-house software, connectivity, network accounts, common peripherals, unified communications, and other corporate assets. Advise staff on appropriate action. Remove and add system permissions for staff. Serve as liaison between staff and the technology department to resolve issues and train & orient new staff members. Consistently follow operational processes and assist with continuous improvement efforts. Document self-help solutions and instructions for future reference. On-boarding activities, including but not limited to.

Requirements

4+ years of tier 2/3 Desktop Support in an enterprise environment or similar capacity. A Linguist. You have fluent Japanese and business-level English, comfortable using both languages in any situation. Tech Savvy. Advanced knowledge of systems and applications, including but not limited to, MS Windows 7 & 10, MS Windows Server, Windows Active Directory, MS Office (including O365) and Mac OSX. Experience working with Windows SCCM, Cisco UC products, and ServiceNow is highly advantageous. Investigator. You love to get to the root of a problem! Troubleshooting problems is second nature to you. Educated. College degree or equivalent work experience. Communication. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills. Japanese language preferred. Service Minded. Excellent customer service skills, and always consider the impact on the customer when making a decision. Detail Oriented. Can easily author training guides and process documentation. Independent. Can work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
