The Medical group of each therapeutic area is a strategic partner with commercial to ensure highest scientific standards when implementing local medical and commercial plans.
The Medical Director manages the Medical group of each therapeutic area including Medical Managers/Associates and Medical Science Liaison group, and reports to Country Medical Head Japan.
It is critical that this team works transversally to align its activities to common brand strategies and ensure collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Success in this role will be reflected through the shaping of healthcare in relevant therapeutic area, which will be achieved through: -
• Shaping and leading an engaging and high performing team
• Creation of a dynamic team culture that empowers individuals to deliver business priorities by co-operating transversally through integrated brand planning and medical project teams
• Industry leading creation and delivery on medical & scientific programs to improve patient outcome
• Partnering with HCPs through peer to peer interactions to achieve common objectives;
• Development and maintenance of excellent relationships with key internal business partners and external health authorities, medical stakeholders, and relevant bodies to drive patient outcomes and commercial goals.
• The broad range programs and promotional activities being undertaken in the spirit of organization policies and Japan medicines code of practice.

Medical Doctor(医師資格保有者)
Medical Degree
At least 5 years professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Experience in relevant clinical discipline.
Business level English
