Our client is a luxury European watch brand.
Our client is looking for a Brand Director for the development of the brand in the Japan region and reporting to headquarter in Europe.
Objectives:
-Optimize the performance of the Brand in the area of responsibility in accordance with the Brand strategy and the Brand DNA.
-Increase Brand awareness; transmit the brand philosophy.
-Ensure a smooth handling of all matters regarding the brand to customers, boutiques, and retailers
-Transmit the brand sales standards in his/her markets.
Accountabilities:
-Responsible for the sales in the territories of the Japan region
-Responsible of the P&L of the Japan region
-Develop boutiques sales network.
-Responsible for regional deployment of headquarter marketing and retail strategy. Increase representation and visibility of the brand in points of sales.
-Pilot sales networks (retail and wholesale teams), marketing and communication team, analyses sales, determine sales potential and inventory requirements, monitor sell-in and sell-out balance at retailers’ doors, monitor customer preferences and inform headquarters.
-Responsible for implementation of local advertising, promotion, marketing and public relations in coordination with headquarters
-Strong focus on events and meeting with domestic and international end-clients, medias, special interest groups. Events are both local and international and often require presence of the brand director attending VIPs.
-University degree or equivalent
-At least 5 years of extensive working experience in Sales, Marketing, Promotion in the luxury good industry.
- Strong understanding of luxury sector and willingness to ex-tend product knowledge
-High level of creativity and strong communication skills.
- Fluent English and Business Japanese.
- Many travels in sales territories, be close to the field and to the customers.
