【About the Business】
Targeting both Japanese and global pharmaceutical companies as customers to conduct joint research. Utilizing existing patents, molecules to look for new indication uses. Drug repositioning and rescue of discontinued development pipeline. Identification of new bio-markers.

【Responsibilities】
Business development (customer development, licensing / joint research, alliance) + management of two subordinates.
Targets are both domestic and international mega pharma companies with substantial patent holdings and high potential to improve pipeline outlook.
The larger the pipeline and number of failed studies, the better chance for success with this business model.

Requirements

Business development and or R&D experience at a pharmaceutical maker company
Knowledge of in/out-licensing, alliance strategy in pharmaceutical business
Strong negotiation skills and experience working with executives in pharma industry from service company perspective
Business level English proficiency or higher
Minimum Conversational Japanese level
