Job Description

Job Purpose:
Develop the overall marketing strategies which will be effective in delivering the all year round volume, profit and share objectives, as well as building brand equity among target consumers.

Main Accountability:
- Identify incremental volume and growth opportunities via related analysis.
- Observe market trend and translate consumer insights into optimized strategy direction.
- Monitor competitive activities and brand share.
- Propose action to defend against competitive initiatives.
- Engage with other markets to import innovative idea for Japan market.
- Work with retail to deploy the merchandising guideline as well as the new merchandising tools development.
- Formulate strategy and plan for the targeted communication and fulfill the role of build the brand awareness in an efficient and effective way.
- Take through the required regulatory process to make product can be sold.
- Effective allocation of marketing budget and monitor the expense status.
- Push for game changing ideas for the brand.
- Build up, lead the team and have coaching/training when needed.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 15 years working experience in integrated marketing within Luxury cosmetic Industry preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese, plus presentation skill
- Outstanding organizational, management and negotiations skills, with a sharp eye for details
- Articulate, confident, highly analytical, people oriented & able to work well under pressure
- Proactive self-starter to manage new projects and open to creative opportunities
- Available for frequent travel
- E-commerce knowledge or experiences would be preferable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Develops higher-level knowledge and skills required to independently resolve complex issues and perform more sophisticated assignments
- Demonstrated passion to work in a high achievement, sales focused outcome driven the team
- Proven exceptional ability in organizational skills, customer service, public speaking and instructional team management.
- Presentable, attention to details, self-motivated, and independent with excellent interpersonal skills in working with all levels of staff
- Genuinely interested in developing others
- Listens attentively. Acknowledges the feelings, views, and contributions of others. Encourages participation in decision

Others:
- General administrative tasks (correspondence, regular reporting and expenses)
- Organize and prepare all matters for personnel scheduled trips (travelling – 50%)
