Job Description

Market Access & External Relations Manager

- Acquire drug prices that appropriately reflect the value of products with creating evidence that is reasonable in light of drug price standards and focused on economic aspects, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and related sections of Global/JAPAC (Market Access and HEOR)
- Make assumption on drug prices that are most likely to arise in light of the latest drug price standards, past cases, the business environment, trends of competitor products, etc. in formulating business plans. In addition, to draw up proposals to obtain expected high drug prices and make proposals to Clinical Development, Marketing, and related departments of Global/JAPAC, etc.
- Establish the image of the company as a reliable partner by delivering and proposing this value as evidence to stakeholders

Requirements

- Basic knowledge on medical care policies and systems, particularly medical service fees and the NHI drug price system
- Experience in pricing and health economics (Health economics, Epidemiology/real world research, Health policy, Pricing/Market Access)
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the regulatory and access environment
- Excellent communication in English; working knowledge in Japanese (More than 800 points of TOEIC or ability of communicating with Global team smoothly)
- Excellent stakeholder network
- Line management experience (preferred)
