Director, Institutional Sales

Job description

This position has main responsibility to expand sales of Financial Institutional Clients and also has broad responsibility to expand sales of Pension Clients, Consulting, RIIS and broader asset management services.

This position will coordinate / collaborate with other Client Services team members and Investment team members in the development of a solution based sales strategy to clients.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

-Develop Revenue and AUM Acquisition Plan.
-Meet and exceed annual financial targets as agreed with MD
-Develop a thorough understanding of the Institutions market segment, existing and prospective client relationships and solutions based strategy.
-Delivering value-added advice and investment solutions that help our clients manage the investment process around planning/governance, asset allocation and strategy implementation and performance reporting and evaluation.
-Work closely with marketing and product groups to develop a solution-based value proposition for the Institutions segment.
-Coordinate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts/resources.

Requirements

-Five to ten plus years of experience in the investment management industry or related fields with a successful track record in sales and/or sales management.
-In-depth knowledge of investment products, the asset management industry.
-Successful sales experience in the financial industry or related fields; demonstrated knowledge of solution based selling techniques and persuasive communication and presentation skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within the team.
-High level of personal integrity and professionalism. Actual experiences and knowledge of Investment Management and Business level English communication skill are the plus
