Job Description

The Sr. Sales Director, Asia Pacific is a highly visible position that will manage sales staff and will be responsible for our distribution network in the region. In addition, the role will interface with other regional departments including field applications, marketing and regulatory.

• Achievement of regional sales revenues for the defined geography
• Direct execution of sales strategies and tactics, and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
• Develop and execute business plans for specific countries that represent the largest opportunities within the region. Prepare a regional business analysis for management review on a quarterly basis.
• Establish and maintain relationships with major stakeholders in the oncology testing markets in the region.
• Work with regional marketing to develop and implement tactical plans to achieve the annual revenue target.
• Leverage knowledge of genomics and next-generation sequencing to drive strategy in a defined geography for laboratory and oncology markets
• Hire, develop and manage a team of direct reports within the assigned region.
• Responsibility for managing an accurate forecast based on corporate timelines
• Review and compliance with all policies and procedures including HIPAA Security policies.

Requirements

• 5- 10 years of sales experience in a relevant industry/commercial environment (diagnostics, genetic testing, research products)
• Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree preferred in a related curriculum
• Deep domain knowledge of the Diagnostic industry. Molecular Diagnostic experience strongly preferred.
• Experience selling oncology tests and services into the laboratory and clinicians.
• Experience within complex selling environments required.
• 25-50% travel required
• Ability to leverage cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and objectives.
• Advanced presentation skills and solid business acumen a necessity.
• Problem-solving, decision-making and technical learning.
• Strong administrative skills. Ability to manage the business in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
