Job Description

Company aims to be Asia’s largest independent developer, owner and operator of renewables and other infrastructure facilities. Company’s projects have been funded by Asia’s largest largest independent energy and infrastructure private equity fund with US$2.7bn in funds under management. The funder has a proven track record of developing renewable energy assets. In 2017, The funder divested its solar and wind business, which had 180 assets totaling 11 GW, for US$5bn in the largest renewable energy transaction in history.
The successful candidate will be involved in all facets of Company’s investment and development process and will have primary responsibility for building and maintaining Company’s financial models. The candidate will have direct exposure to senior management and considerable career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct extensive financial modeling and valuation
•Prepare investment committee memorandums and presentations
•Undertake general industry and market research for the purpose of identifying investment opportunities
•Support and eventually lead the deal execution process, including financial analysis, due diligence, documentation and financing
•Support asset management functions for portfolio assets in Japan, including exploring strategies to create value at the portfolio level

Requirements

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
•Keen interest in financial modelling
•Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English (native or business level)
•Applicants must have graduated from a highly quantitative course such as mathematics, engineering, finance or economics from a leading university
•Excellent academic results
•Good presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills
