Job Description

This position is a key part of the New Product Planning department in Japan.

- The person in this position is expected to lead multiple DAs (Disease Area) in the neuroscience portfolio, which include mood disorder (major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder), Alzheimer’s disease, schizophrenia, Myasthenia Gravis, CIDP(Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy, epilepsy, PTSD, and others.
- Develop/execute a compound development strategy and commercial strategy as J-CoT (Japan Compound (Development) Team )co-lead with cross-functional team. Especially this position drives strategic discussion as follows;
Optimization of pipeline priority
Acceleration of the regulatory pathway
Optimization of label/indication/formulation
- Optimal incorporation of CoDx (Companion Diagnostics) into strategy
- Acceleration of IEGP (Integrated Evidence Generation Plan)
- Assessment of commercial value of pipeline product
- Ensure launch excellence of new compounds for responsible J-CoT as co-lead with cross functional team.
- Collaborate with market research partners to execute market research through development of objectives, vendor selection, project execution and analysis of findings.
- Ensure quality commercial assessment of licensing candidates to address pipeline GAPs
- Develop targeting strategy, product positioning and go-to market model to ensure successful launch
- Collaborate with Business Development team to manage co-promotion deal with partner company
- The position must be a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders by developing healthy relationships.

Requirements

<Experiences>
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience, including five years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology marketing, global/regional experience is a plus
- Marketing or sales experience in product launch preferred
- Demonstrated track record of business results in complex and ambiguous marketing environments
- Successful management of agencies and vendor relationships
- Experience in leading market research project
- Experience of downloading external secondary data from their systems (IQVIA, Intage, JMDC, etc.) and analyzing to understand market

Higher degree in healthcare, science or business degree is preferred.
