Job Description

This role will lead the establishment of a new digital corporate communications platform for the Japan business.
Responsible for executing corporate, digital/internal that will help support this company's growth and priorities in Japan.
Seeking a seasoned communications professional, with strong execution ability, proficiency in Japanese and English, and people skills.

• Execute corporate, digital/internal or product communications plans around the company's priorities and positive developments.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify communications and publicity opportunities.
• Develop story ideas and create contents for publication/announcement.
• Manage contents distribution using the company's own and other communications tools and channels, digital or traditional.
• Assist and collaborate with other team members on the execution of large-scale assignments such as engagement events.
• Corporate and product: Proactively build and maintain relationships with the media and other external stakeholders to raise the company's public visibility.
• Internal: Plan and execute internal events such as Town Hall meetings.

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English.
• Proactivity and high level of personal accountability.
• Strong ability to deliver in timely manner under pressure and juggle multiple tasks.
• Strong ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• 8+ years of experience in communications in agency or in-house setting.

• Pharmaceutical sector experience not mandatory.
