Job Description

Job Title: Operation Solution Manager
Supervisor: Head of Japan Operations
Department: Japan Operations

Job Purpose (Job Summary)
Reporting to the Head of Japan Operations, the Operation Solution Manager will work as a primary owner to improve operational process and build better operational support model

Key Responsibilities / Duties
-Responsible for managing operational process improvement including a managing of improvement opportunity list /system enhancement list and report progress against target to senior stakeholders including ISMT members
-Work as a member of ITM Operation team or Pension Operation team with specific target and duration to understand existing process and support team members to discuss and document existing process and future improvement ideas
-Build robust framework to manage operational changes, including process automation, paper-less and track the progress against KPI
-Be accountable for the challenges and barriers for improvement and seek necessary support pro-actively in the organization to make it happen
-Drive strategic projects as project manager or business analyst on necessary basis
-Work as a liaison between technologist and operation team to translate business/operational requirements and communicate them to technology team
-Be a champion of digital transformation in a team
-Prepare materials, presentations and reports to provide regular communication updates to key stakeholders
-Work with team members, global team and third-party vendors to come up with operational solutions for new business requirements and product development
-Build good relationship with internal business stakeholders and collect their demands/requests and communicate back to the team

Requirements

- At least 5-year work experiences in operation role (i.e. Trade Support/ Fund Accounting )
at asset management company or trustee banks.
- Preferably have knowledge and work experience using systems of asset management operation (i.e. T-Star, FAIMS, GTSS, CTM etc.)
- Experience to lead/manage as project manager, consultant or business analyst to drive operational process/platform changes

- Language skills: English in business level
- Business analysis skill: any business analytical skills (i.e. BPMS, Six-Sigma) or project management skill (i.e. PMP holder) preferable
- Teamwork: communicate with people respectfully regardless of personal view or disagreement and proactively share information, knowledge and ideas that may help others succeed
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others, build strong trust-based relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills at different levels in the organization
