Create + manage Apparel and apparel accessory product line to provide right product.
•Achieve category financial metrics (revenue, margin, sku efficiency) and to build brand equity.
•Build line plan to optimize product effectiveness considering quantity, channel, price point, price mix and retail assortments and flow.
•Analyze market place and competitors to create seasonal story-theme, features and key items
•Brief products needs to Vendor (design agency) to create right product for market and brand
•Lead and communicate with vendor and related team to develop product and make it commercial in whole season process
•Communicate with Region to deliver product line plan
•Develop product assortment by market place
•Deliver category business presentation in Key meeting/event and manage or support the GTM trade show plan.
•Work with Sales team to manage market place management
•Work with Marketing and Sales team to download product information for catalog, product education and assortment planning education
• Experience apparel merchandiser required – Not required in accessory ( Headwear, Belt and Socks) but preferred to have
• Experience in sports industry preferred
• More than 10 years merchandiser experience in apparel with global brand, in managerial level
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
•University degree preferred but not required
•Understanding of Japan Apparel Marketplace (distribution, product and consumer)
•Excellent spoken and written English
•Advanced in IT skills as Outlook and MS office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
•Able to work collaboratively across different functions and cultures
